ADEN, Aug. 07 (YPA) – The Southern Transitional Council (STC) adopted an explicit stance on Thursday, refusing to send fighters or recruits to join Saudi-backed “Emergency Forces” in battles against Sanaa forces, asserting that the ongoing clashes serve neither their agenda nor their interests.
During a meeting held in Aden, the STC stated that calls for mobilization and recruitment to fight on the frontlines against Sanaa forces represent a dangerous drain on manpower in losing battles, cautioning its members against heeding these calls.
The meeting highlighted the persistent state of chaos and security instability in Hadramout province, condemning the continuous assaults and field violations committed by the Saudi-backed Emergency Forces against local civilians.
