Unknown gunmen destroy Saudi-backed military vehicle in Marib

MARIB, Sept. 22 (YPA) – Unknown gunmen targeted a military vehicle belonging to Saudi-backed forces in northern Marib city on Monday, according to local sources.

The attackers ambushed the vehicle using an explosive device in the Al-Rawda neighborhood, completely destroying it. The area remains under the control of the Islah Party.

Local sources said the attack comes amid escalating tensions between Islah Party leadership and rival Saudi-backed commanders, alongside alleged abuses against tribal members in party-controlled areas.

No casualties were immediately reported, and no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
