Sanaa holds Saudi Arabia responsible for any escalation

SANAA, Aug. 05 (YPA) – Member of Sanaa’s negotiating delegation, Abdulmalik Al-Ajri, said pressure to secure the Yemeni people’s demands—including lifting restrictions on airports and seaports and paying public-sector salaries—will continue to escalate.

He stressed that there will be no retreat until there is a serious response to the essential humanitarian and livelihood-related entitlements.

In a post on X, Al-Ajri held the Saudi government fully responsible for the consequences of any escalation, reflecting Sanaa’s position that pressure on Riyadh will intensify unless meaningful steps are taken to address humanitarian and economic issues and lift the blockade on Yemen.
