WASHINGTON, July 30 (YPA) – The US capital, Washington, witnessed pro-Palestinian protests, for the second day in a row, in front of the hotel where Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was staying, in rejection of the visit.
The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding his arrest and holding him responsible for the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
In addition, a number of protesters tried to enter the hotel lobby, amid a security deployment in the surrounding area.
The participants also raised Palestinian flags and banners demanding an end to US support for Israel, and chanted: “You can’t hide,” and “Arrest Netanyahu,” coinciding with the continuation of his visit to Washington and his meetings with US officials.
