TEHRAN, July 29 (YPA) – Iran’s Army Chief of Staff for Coordination Affairs Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said the country’s naval forces maintain a high state of readiness and exercise full control over the eastern Strait of Hormuz, the Sea of Oman, and the northern Indian Ocean.
Sayyari said no movement through these strategic waters can take place without Iran’s permission, adding that the Iranian Navy maintains a strong presence across West Asia and is capable of preserving regional security and stability.
He also said security remains stable along Iran’s land, maritime, and air borders, describing the country’s overall security situation as stable.
The admiral noted that the current capabilities and military strength of Iran’s armed forces are the result of the guidance and directives of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
