Yemen military media publishes defiant footage as Sanaa warns Saudi Arabia

SANAA, July 29 (YPA) – The military media of Yemen’s Sanaa-based forces on Wednesday released a video titled “Surrender Is Not an Option in Yemen,” delivering what it described as a strong military and political message to Saudi Arabia amid escalating rhetoric surrounding the ongoing conflict.

The video, published on the forces’ X account, features footage of what it says are Saudi military losses in previous border battles in the Jizan, Najran, and Asir regions. The accompanying message states that the Yemeni people will not surrender and will continue efforts to secure what they describe as their rights, end the blockade, and bring the conflict to a close regardless of the cost.

The footage is interspersed with excerpts from speeches by Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, in which he says surrender is impossible and emphasizes the principles of freedom and dignity. He also refers to what he describes as Yemen’s military confrontation with the United States, alongside Israeli enemy and the United Kingdom, during operations linked to support for Gaza.

The video concludes with a rhetorical question from Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi asking whether Yemen would submit or surrender, in what the message presents as a warning directed at Saudi Arabia.
