Lebanese Army: Israeli occupation hinders deployment of our forces in south

BEIRUT, July 26 (YPA) – The Lebanese Army announced that Israeli occupation forces are continuing their attacks on southern towns through the destruction and bulldozing of homes, shelling of villages, burning of agricultural land, and targeting a water project in the Markaba area, alongside violating agreements and firing near its deployment sites.

The army clarified that these violations and military movements are hindering the full deployment of its units in southern villages and the execution of its duties. It added that these actions prevent the return of residents and the establishment of stability in the region, emphasizing that it continues to escort returning civilians in coordination with relevant authorities despite these obstacles.
