Casualties reported in Gaza amid ongoing Israeli ceasefire violations

GAZA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, targeting Palestinian civilians and residential areas and causing casualties among civilians.

Palestinian sources reported ambulance crews recovered the remains of four members of the Ahmed family after Israeli forces bombed a house in the Beit Lahia Project in northern Gaza.

The victims were identified as Moamen Abdul Rahman Ahmed, the head of the family; his wife, Haneen Mousa Fares Saleh; and their daughters, Lana Moamen Ahmed, 12, and Bana Moamen Ahmed, 8.

In Khan Younis, several Palestinians were injured, including one critically, after an Israeli drone struck Al-Tina Street in the Al-Qarara area of southern Gaza.

The sources added that occupation forces shelled areas east of Gaza City to artillery fire, while Israeli naval boats opened heavy fire on the waters off Khan Younis and the eastern areas of the central Gaza Strip.

According to the latest figures from Gaza’s Health Ministry, 1,358 Palestinians have been killed and 4,541 injured since the ceasefire began.
