SANAA, July 25 (YPA) – Mohammed Abdulsalam, head of Sanaa’s negotiating delegation, said the “aggressive” strike on Sanaa International Airport reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia continues to insist on keeping the airport closed and will not permit its reopening without “royal permission,” despite its statements claiming to defend Yemen’s sovereignty.
“Saudi Arabia is similar to Israel in its aggressive wars, with lies, arrogance, malice, and aggression, by bombing Sana’a Airport while claiming to defend Yemenis!,” Abdulsalam wrote on X.

He added, “Hiding behind statements and unjust UN resolutions imposed by Saudi oil relations cannot obscure that unjust Saudi siege is targeting Yemen.”
He said the kingdom was responsible for the blockade imposed on Yemen following an eight-year war that failed to achieve its goals, adding that Saudi Arabia is now seeks to compensate for its losses through economic siege.
“What Saudi Arabia must realize at this stage is that it has made itself a clear enemy of Yemen,” he said, warning that Riyadh’s continued arrogance and refusal to accept the truth will have serious consequences for the kingdom, its security, and its economy.
He affirmed that the naval blockade is the first step in the battle of “siege for siege,” adding that the Yemeni people will not give up their rights.
