TEHRAN, July 18 (YPA) – The Iranian Army announced on Saturday that it had launched drone strikes targeting US military bases and facilities in Jordan and Kuwait .
The Army’s public relations department said in a statement that in continuation of the crushing response to the US acts of aggression, the Army launched drone attacks as part of Operation Thunderbolt, targeting strategic assets, command and control centers, logistics infrastructure and defense systems of the US terrorist army in the region.
The Iranian Army’s drones targeted the ammunition depot of the US army in Camp Al-Udairi in Kuwait, the headquarters buildings and ammunition depots of this child-killing army in the Ali Al-Salem air base, and several communication bridges in the Arab country, the statement said.
Camp Al-Udairi is an important center for supporting and reorganizing the combat organization of American forces, and the Ali Al-Salem base is also one of the largest centers for supporting and coordinating US air operations in the Persian Gulf region.
It noted that the fuel tanks of the invading army in the Al-Azraq base in Jordan were also targeted by Army drone attacks.
Jordan’s Azraq Air Base has become a vital base for the United States due to its location, infrastructure, and deployment of modern military equipment, as well as large American investments. It plays a key role in controlling the region and military operations in West Asia.
The Islamic Republic of Iran Army stressed that any power that desires to test the will of the Iranian nation will be faced with the firm determination and readiness of the Armed Forces and the heroic and steadfast people Iran.
