GAZA, July 16 (YPA) –At least 102 Palestinians left the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border crossing, including 40 patients and 62 companions, to receive medical treatment abroad, Palestinian sources reported on Thursday .
According to the sources, the patients were transferred as part of ongoing efforts to evacuate medical cases that require specialized treatment outside Gaza.
The departure of patients through the Rafah crossing remains a major humanitarian issue, with repeated calls to facilitate travel and allow critically ill patients to leave the Gaza Strip for urgent medical care, especially as the number of people in need of specialized treatment continues to grow.
