Ansarallah: Targeting of Sanaa Airport failed to prevent delegation’s return and will not go unanswered
SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – The Political Bureau of Ansarallah stated that the targeting of Sanaa International Airport represents a dangerous escalation and a direct aggression against Yemeni sovereignty, noting that the attack was a failed attempt to prevent the delegation of the Republic of Yemen from returning to the country.
In an official statement issued on Monday, the Political Bureau considered the bombardment of the airport a flagrant violation of international laws. The statement held Saudi Arabia responsible for the attack, asserting it was carried out with American support and coverage, and as part of ongoing efforts to maintain the blockade imposed on Yemen for over a decade, which has exacerbated the humanitarian situation.
The Political Bureau emphasized that the policy of force and military pressure will not deter the Yemeni people from upholding their rights, reaffirming their right to a decisive response and declaring that the era of tutelage has ended.
The statement called on the United Nations and the international community to assume their responsibilities regarding the blockade, free from double standards, while reiterating Yemen’s right to full sovereignty and the defense of its territory.
