Lebanon says casualties from Israeli aggression rise to 16,507

BEIRUT, July 05 (YPA) – Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health announced on Sunday that the cumulative number of casualties from Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 16,507 since the latest escalation began on March 2.

According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, carried by the National News Agency, the total includes 4,304 people killed and 12,203 injured. Over the past 24 hours, one person was killed and another wounded.

The ministry also reported that 135 healthcare workers have been killed and 406 injured as a result of 176 Israeli occupation attacks targeting ambulance teams and medical personnel.
