DAMASCUS, July 01 (YPA) – Israeli occupation army patrol consisting of four vehicles entered the western countryside of Daraa Governorate in southern Syria on Wednesday, coming from the Tel Abu al-Ghaithar gate via the Wadi al-Raqad road to the “Wadi Company” site on the Saisoun-Jamla road.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the patrol stayed briefly inside the site and then withdrew, without any clashes, raids, or arrests being recorded.
The Observatory indicated that the incursion is part of the frequent ground movements of the occupation forces in the Daraa and Quneitra countrysides.
On June 29, the Observatory monitored an incursion by occupation forces on foot from the al-Jazira barracks towards the mortar company, 400 meters away, coinciding with live fire on neighboring residential areas.
