DAMASCUS, Jully 01 (YPA) – Syrian media reported that General Security personnel affiliated with the Interior Ministry of the Syrian Interim Government arrested a minor on Tuesday during a raid on his family’s home in the town of Tel Aran, in Al-Sfeirah countryside east of Aleppo, after failing to locate his wanted father.
According to the sources, the minor, Ahmad Hussein Harja, born in 2010, was at home when the security patrol conducted the raid. He was detained after officers were unable to find his father, Hussein Harja.
The sources added that the officers contacted the father by phone and informed him that his son would remain in custody until he surrendered himself.
The patrol also carried out a full search of the house, confiscating several documents and deeds related to the family’s property, in addition to other personal belongings.
