Head of “Judges Club” abducted after home raid in Aden

ADEN, June 29 (YPA) – Armed elements belonging to the “Emergency and Land Protection Battalion” raided the home of the Head of the “Judges Club and Public Funds Prosecutor” in Lahij governorate, “Hanesh Atef Al-Daari,” in the Saudi-controlled city of Aden in southern Yemen.

Following a military blockade on his house in the Al-Sha’ab area, Al-Daari was abducted and taken to an unknown destination, with the motives or charges against him remaining unknown.

Al-Daari, who is loyal to the UAE-backed “dissolved” Southern Transitional Council (STC), had documented the surrounding of his home in a video clip recorded immediately upon his return from work, amid ongoing chaos and security tensions in the city.

Meanwhile, the Al-Daari tribe in Radfan condemned the raid and abduction, holding the commander of the battalion, “Saleh Al-Hawshabi,” fully responsible. In an official statement, the tribe asserted they would not stand idly by, reserving their full right to respond.
