UN Committee: Intentional targeting of children proves Zionist entity’s intent to commit genocide in Gaza

NEW YORK, June 24 (YPA) – The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry confirmed, in a statement carried by media outlets, that the Zionist entity’s ongoing intentional targeting of Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip proves the genocidal intent to destroy the Palestinian group, in whole or in part.

The committee called on the occupying entity to immediately halt crimes against childhood and to end its presence in the West Bank and East Jerusalem (Quds), in line with the International Court of Justice’s advisory opinion.

It also urged the international community to act to compel the Zionist entity to end its occupation, emphasizing that utmost priority must be given to accountability and justice for the victims as an integral part of any future political process with the effective participation of the Palestinian people.
