Under Iranian threat, Israeli occupation announces ceasefire in Lebanon

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, June 20 (YPA) – Tehran has forced the Israeli occupation entity to immediately cease fire in southern Lebanon, confirming the success of the deterrence equation imposed by the Islamic Republic following the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy’s announcement today of the closure of the strategic Strait of Hormuz.

This closure was in response to the American violation of the Memorandum of Understanding and Washington’s failure to compel the occupation to halt its aggression in Lebanon.

Hebrew media outlets reported that Israeli occupation’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his defense minister, Yisrael Katz, instructed the occupation army to cease fire in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli “Channel 12” reported that the ceasefire decision, issued at Netanyahu’s direction, was met with silence within the occupation entity. Meanwhile, the “Walla!” website quoted a military source as saying that the Chief of Staff issued the instructions to cease fire in southern Lebanon following a meeting to assess the security situation.
