Commander reveals how UAE forces abandoned battalion in Drehemi

HODEIDAH, Aug. 7 (YPA) – A southern commander in Amalekia Brigade revealed on Monday that the UAE has abandoned a full battalion after it was trapped by the Yemeni army for 3 days in Drehemi district of Western Coast Front.
The commander of the Amalekia Brigade, Omar al-Subaihi, confirmed that the battalion commander refused to advance, but some Emirati officers were able to convince him that the Apache will be with them, which did not happen at all, and resulted in the death, injury and capturing of more than 100 of Amalekia militiamen.

Al-Subaihi blamed the UAE invasion forces for abandoning southern fighters, calling the so-called resistance factions to reconsider of the western coast battle.
