Lebanese Ministry of Health: 3,826 dead, 11,8251 wounded since beginning of Israeli escalation

BEIRUT, June 16 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that the cumulative death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 3,826, with 11,8251 injured since the beginning of the recent Israeli escalation last March 2nd.

In its daily statistical report, published by the National News Agency, the Lebanese Health Ministry reported that 28 people were killed and 53 others were injured over the past 24 hours.

The report confirmed that “the number of martyrs and injured among healthcare workers has reached 133 martyrs and 402 injured,” resulting from 172 attacks by the Israeli enemy army on ambulance teams and health crews.

Since last March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its criminal aggression on Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian objects, leaving hundreds of deaths, thousands of injured, and displacing nearly one and a half million Lebanese citizens, the majority of whom are unregistered in shelter centers.

A temporary ceasefire agreement entered into force in mid-April; however, the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement.
