SANAA, June 16 (YPA) – The continuous defilement of Islamic sanctities and religious symbols by political leaders in the United States of America represents the embodiment of a firm, systematic policy that transcends individual actions. Instead, it reveals the depth of hostility directed against the Islamic Nation (Ummah) and its spiritual foundations.
This was clearly manifested recently in the explicit affront directed by the US President Donald Trump against the holiest spot on Earth, “Makkah Al-Mukarramah” (Mecca) and the Holy “Kaaba,” through a provocative image published on his “Truth Social” account, sparking outrage among Muslims across the globe.
This behavior, coming from an American president, proves beyond any doubt that insulting sanctities in Washington has come to reflect an official orientation and general conduct within the United States, rather than mere transient lapses.
Furthermore, the timing and background of this affront clearly demonstrate Trump’s organic and close connection to Zionism. Together with its supporting Western arms, Zionism adopts a systematic hostile project targeting Islamic sanctities. This project aims to strike at the ideological and spiritual identity of the Islamic Nation, attempting to weaken the pillars of its religious and political unity to facilitate colonial projects in the region.
This close connection is evidenced by historical precedents. In May 2017, American President Donald Trump, accompanied by his son-in-law Jared Kushner, visited the Al-Buraq Wall at the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque under tight security measures.
In doing so, he became the first sitting US president to visit the Wall while in office. He placed his right hand upon it and—following established Zionist tradition—placed a note containing prayers and wishes between the stones of the Wall.
This move constituted an overt and clear alignment with the Zionist project and its endeavors to Judaize Islamic sanctities in Al-Quds Al-Shareef (Jerusalem) and strip away its Arabic identity.
An analysis of that event reveals that Trump proceeded to the site without the company of any “Israeli” official, thereby giving the visit a distinct ideological character. He was accompanied by the Zionist Rabbi in charge of the Al-Buraq Wall, Shmuel Rabinowitz.
Trump entered the section designated for men, while his daughter Ivanka and his wife Melania visited the site from the section designated for women—reflecting an ideological and political extension fully committed to serving the Zionist agenda.
