Israeli settlers burn farmland, vehicles, attack homes in Jit village east of Qalqilya

WEST BANK, June 14 (YPA) – Israeli settlers set fire on Saturday evening to agricultural lands and vehicles and caused damage to several homes in Jit village, east of Qalqilya.

Palestinian sources reported that groups of settlers torched farmland belonging to four to five families in the village, burning around 4–5 dunums of land before civil defense teams, with assistance from local youths, managed to extinguish the fires.

The sources added that settlers also burned four vehicles, including two belonging to visitors, causing significant material damage.

They further reported that settlers threw incendiary bottles at several houses, resulting in minor damage to three homes.

All targeted properties belong to the Sadda, Yamin, and Abu Bakr families in the village.
