Qalibaf: Attacking southern suburbs of Beirut reveals Washington’s inability to fulfill its commitments or impose its will

TEHRAN, June 14 (YPA) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf said that the attack targeting the southern suburbs of Beirut proves that the United States lacks either the political will or the actual ability to abide by its commitments.

Qalibaf added that Washington’s implicit approval and green light to the Israeli entity to launch an attack on the southern suburbs makes it impossible to continue dealing with this negotiating or political path, stressing that the era of the “good cop, bad cop” game is over and has ended definitively.

In the same context, the assistant commander of the “Khatam al-Anbiya” headquarters stated that the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in the southern suburbs of Beirut would not go unanswered, and that they would be met with an appropriate response.
