4 Palestinians injured in settlers attack near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, June 12 (YPA) – Four Palestinians were injured, one seriously, on Friday during an attack by settlers on residents of the village of Deir Abu Mash’al, northwest of Ramallah.

Local sources told the Sanad news agency that settlers attacked a group of citizens with sticks and knives in the “Qarana” hill south of the village, resulting in four injuries.

In the same context, dozens of Palestinians succeeded in dismantling an outpost on the village’s land, sparking clashes with the occupation army, which fired tear gas heavily.

Previously, the occupation forces had stormed the village during Friday prayers to prevent residents from protesting against the outpost, despite their promise to remove it.

In addition, the settlers had re-erected a tent on the hill in the morning, days after the occupation army removed it by court order.

In a related context, settlers closed the road linking Beitunia and the villages of Beit Ur, west of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, at the “Ein Jariout” area, preventing the passage of Palestinian vehicles.
