GAZA, June Abu Obeida, the military spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, praised the city of Jenin and its resistance fighters, commending an operation that targeted Israeli occupation forces in the Al-Jabriyat neighborhood.
In a news statement, he said the city continues to set an advanced example of resilience and resistance despite ongoing Israeli aggression and restrictions.
Abu Obeida described Jenin as Gaza’s “sister in courage and steadfastness,” praising the strike carried out by its fighters amid the difficult security and military conditions resulting from repeated Israeli aggressive raids and operations.
He said the increase in resistance activities against the occupation forces across the West Bank, along with efforts by Palestinians to confront settler attacks on their property and land, reflects the Palestinian people’s determination to defend their rights and reject the occupation’s policies.
Abu Obeida added that growing pressure on Palestinians would not lead to their submission but would instead contribute to further escalation.
He argued that attempts to weaken Palestinian resolve or force surrender have failed, citing the continued resistance activity and expanding confrontations in the West Bank.
