Pakistani military helicopter crashes due to technical fault, killing all onboard

ISLAMABAD, June 11 (YPA) – A Pakistan Army Mi-17 transport helicopter crashed near Muzaffarabad city during takeoff due to a technical failure, killing everyone onboard.

Officials have not yet released the exact number of casualties.

The military announced that an inquiry committee has been formed to investigate the precise technical cause of the crash. Meanwhile, Army Chief General Asim Munir expressed deep sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families.
