Zionist settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, perform provocative rituals under protection of occupation forces

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, June 07 (YPA) – 123 extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday through the Mughrabi Gate under heavy protection from occupation forces, as part of an escalating series of incursions targeting the mosque.

The Islamic Waqf Department reported that the intruders toured the Al-Aqsa courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals that included provocative songs and dances.

They also raised Israeli flags and took photos at the Western Courtyard.

Recent months have witnessed a significant escalation in the pace of violations, with last May recording a notable increase in the number of settlers storming through the Mughrabi Gate, both morning and evening.

Jerusalemites and concerned institutions warned that the continued incursions and provocative rituals represent a dangerous escalation aimed at imposing new realities within Al-Aqsa Mosque, amid increasing Israeli violations against Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem.
