BEIRUT, May 22 (YPA) – At least ten people, including two paramedics, were killed on Friday in Israeli airstrikes on the Deir Qanoun–al-Nahr–Abbasiyeh triangle in southern Lebanon, amid continued violation of the ceasefire agreement.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), the casualties include two paramedics from al-Rissala Scouts who were transporting the injured from the initial strike, four Lebanese citizens, and three Syrians, including a child.
Earlier today, four paramedics were killed in an airstrike on their center in the town of Hanaway in the Tyre district.
The attacks came amid continued Israeli violations of the fragile ceasefire announced on April 17 and extended Friday for an additional 45 days until early July.
Since March 2, “Israel” has carried out a large-scale offensive on Lebanon that has killed 3,111 people and wounded 9,432 others, while displacing more than 1.6 million people, according to Lebanese official figures.
