Iran insists on ending war, receiving reparations for aggression

TEHRAN, May 18 (YPA) – A source close to the Iranian negotiating team, quoted by the Tasnim news agency, affirmed that Iran will not abandon its firm and principled stances regarding ending the war and guaranteeing the rights of the Iranian people.

The source explained that Tehran’s insistence on the United States paying reparations for the aggression against Iran is “very serious,” emphasizing that this issue represents one of the fundamental constants in any negotiation process.

He pointed out that the American side is still trying to link the negotiations to end the war to the nuclear issue, considering this approach “illogical” and inconsistent with the nature of the ongoing negotiations.
