South Korean protesters demand end to war on Gaza

SEOUL, May 18 – Hundreds of Korean and foreign supporters demonstrated in Seoul on Sunday, commemorating the 78th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba as part of “Action Day” events.

Participants demanded an end to the wars on Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran, and a halt to arms exports to Israel, raising banners calling for “an end to ethnic cleansing in Palestine.”

The demonstration began in the Isadong district of central Seoul and headed towards the US and Israeli embassies, in a move aimed at pressuring for an end to the war on Gaza and rejecting Israeli military support.
