Pakistani Interior Minister arrives in Tehran

TEHRAN, May 16 (YPA) – The official Iranian news agency reported that Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in the Iranian capital, Tehran, on Saturday, where he will meet with officials, including his Iranian counterpart.

The agency quoted a diplomatic source in Islamabad as saying that Naqvi is scheduled to meet with a number of senior Iranian officials during this visit, which was not announced in advance, including his Iranian counterpart.

It is worth noting that the Pakistani Interior Minister was part of the delegation accompanying the Pakistani Army Chief during his three-day visit to Tehran last April.

It should be noted that Pakistan is playing a mediating role in the negotiations between Tehran and Washington to stop the American-Zionist aggression against Iran.
