WEST BANK, May 14 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a series of raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank early Thursday, storming Palestinian homes and deploying heavily in a number of towns and refugee camps.
In Ramallah governorate, occupation forces arrested a Palestinian man and his child during a raid on Al-Jalazone refugee camp, north of the city.
Palestinian sources reported occupation forces detained Muhannad Jibril Al-Zubaidi, 52, along with his 12-year-old son, Adam, after raiding their home and ransacking its contents.
In occupied Quds (Jerusalem), Israeli forces arrested three young men during a raid on Qalandia refugee camp in the early morning hours.
Palestinian sources said the three were detained after Israeli troops stormed and searched several homes inside the camp.
In Hebron governorate, occupation forces raided the towns of Tafuh and Idhna west of the city, as well as Tarqumiyah northwest of the city , where they carried out house searches and inspections.
Occupation forces also stormed the town of Al-Zawiya west of Salfit, conducting widespread raids on homes and carrying out field interrogations of several residents.
According to Palestinian sources, occupation forces closed the iron gate at the town’s main entrance while deploying heavily across several neighborhoods and vandalizing homes during the searches. No arrests were reported at the time of writing.
In Jenin governorate, Israeli infantry forces raided the village of Faqu’a northeast of the city, while another military unit entered the Khallet Al-Souha neighborhood inside Jenin city.
In Qalqilya governorate, occupation forces continued their incursion into the town of Azzun east of the city, amid an ongoing campaign of home raids.
Elsewhere in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, occupation forces stormed Al-Jalazone refugee camp, the Al-Irsal neighborhood in Ramallah city, and the village of Surda north of the city.
