TEHRAN, May 08 (YPA) –An Iranian military source revealed on Friday evening that the latest developments in clashes between Iranian Navy forces and US warships in the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement to Tasnim News Agency, the military source said that clashes in the Strait of Hormuz have currently stopped, but warned they could resume if the United States interferes with or targets Iranian vessels.
He added, “After the hostile action made by the American terrorists against Iranian oil tankers, Iran’s navy carried out attacks in response to the violation of the ceasefire and the American terrorism.”
The source at the same time warned that if the Americans intend to enter the Persian Gulf again or cause trouble for the Iranian vessels, they will receive a decisive response again.
“Therefore, there exists the possibility of the resumption of such conflicts in the region,” the source reiterated.
