In Taiz, Saudi fighter jets launched a series of airstrikes on several districts, including four strikes on the Al-Athawir and Al-Ahkawm areas, and two others on a telecommunications network in the Al-Arouq area of Hayfan district. Another strike targeted Al-Kadha area in Al-Ma’afer district, while three strikes hit Al-Barh in Maqbanah district.
In Saada, which came under more than 17 Saudi airstrikes since the morning, the attacks included six strikes on Sahar district, two others on a telecommunications network in the border district of Munabih, and further strikes targeting a telecommunications network in Al-Safra district.
The official added that three strikes also hit areas south of Saada city, while two targeted Al-Salem district and two others hit Al-Buqa’a and Kutaf.
