Gaza death toll climbs to 72,610 as more victims remain under rubble

GAZA, Amy 03 (YPA) – The Gaza-based Ministry of Health declared on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli war on the enclave had risen to 72,610 killed, with 172,448 injured, since October 7, 2023.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry said Gaza hospitals had received two newly killed victims and three new injuries during the past several hours.

It added that since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the number of people killed by Israeli fire had reached 830, while the number of injured rose to 2,345, in addition to the recovery of 767 bodies from various areas.

The ministry noted that many victims remain still trapped under the rubble or lying on roads, as ambulance and Civil Defense crews have so far been unable to reach them.
