6 citizens killed, 8 others injured due to 2 Israeli raids at southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, May 01 (YPA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced, in an initial toll, the martyrdom of 6 people and the injury of 8 others on Friday as a result of two raids by Israeli enemy aircraft on the southern of Lebanon.

 

In a statement published by the Lebanese National News Agency, the ministry stated that the two raids on the town of Haboush in the Nabatieh district resulted in 6 martyrs, including a child and a woman, and 8 wounded, including a child and a woman too.

 

Since March 2nd, the Israeli enemy has escalated its aggression against Lebanon, targeting Lebanese towns, villages, cities, and civilian infrastructure, resulting in thousands of martyrs and wounded, and the displacement of approximately 1.5 million Lebanese citizens.

 

It should be noted that the temporary ceasefire agreement came into effect in mid-April, but the Israeli enemy army continues to commit daily violations of the agreement.
