NABLUS, April 26 (YPA) – A Palestinian couple was injured early Sunday during an Israeli military raid on the village of Duma, south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, its crews treated a 27-year-old man who was shot with live ammunition in the thigh, and a 28-year-old woman who sustained shrapnel injuries to the face. Both were transferred to hospital for treatment.
Palestinian sources reported that the injuries occurred after Israeli occupation forces raided the home of their father, Bassem Dawabsheh, in the village, where live fire was used inside the house.
The incident also caused damage and destruction to the property.
