Security forces arrest suspect accused of inciting unrest in Jawf

JAWF, April 20 (YPA) – Security Media affiliated with the Sanaa-based Ministry of Interior reported on Monday the arrest of a suspect accused of inciting unrest and undermining security and stability in Jawf province.

According to a statement issued by local police, the suspect, identified as Hamad Rashid Fadgham Al-Hazmi, was detained on charges of directly inciting road blockages and disrupting public interests.

The statement added that Al-Hazmi allegedly exploited tribal disputes before the courts and sought to leverage them in line with what authorities described as suspicious foreign agendas aimed at serving “enemies of the homeland” and weakening social cohesion.

Security authorities called on other individuals involved in such activities to surrender to the nearest police station, warning that failure to do so would result in prosecution and the application of strict legal measures without leniency.
