Gold prices see varying increases across Yemeni markets

SANAA, April 16 (YPA) – Gold prices in Yemen recorded a new surge this Thursday, marked by significant regional disparities.

Markets in Aden saw a record jump, with the gold sovereign reaching 1,701,500 YER, an increase of over 38,000 riyals within 48 hours.

Meanwhile, Sanaa markets experienced a slight uptick, with the gold sovereign priced at 578,000 YER and 21-karat gold at 73,800 YER per gram.

This volatility follows a period of instability for the precious metal since late March.
