Dozens of Israeli settlers attack Palestinian residents

QUDS, April 12 (YPA) – Dozens of Israeli settlers on Sunday continued a series of attacks against Palestinian residents and herders across the West Bank, following overnight violence that left a Palestinian youth dead and others injured.

In Nablus province, the settlers erected tents on land belonging to the village of Madama, in what local sources described as a step toward establishing a new outpost. In Al Quds, groups of settlers entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy police protection.

In the southern areas near Hebron, armed settlers attacked shepherds in Masafer Yatta, while others assaulted Palestinian families in Tel Rumeida.

In the Jordan Valley, settlers were reported to have sabotaged water lines used by residents, amid ongoing tensions linked to settlement expansion.

The incidents follow a fatal settler attack in the village of Turmus Ayya near Ramallah on Saturday, which also left several people, including a child, injured.
