GAZA, April 12 (YPA) – The Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip resumed operations on Sunday after a week-long suspension.
According to local sources, the World Health Organization restarted medical evacuations, allowing critically ill and wounded Palestinians to travel abroad for treatment following a temporary halt.
A new group of 87 patients, accompanied by their relatives, departed through the crossing.
The suspension followed an incident earlier this month in which Israeli forces targeted a UN vehicle in Khan Yunis, killing its Palestinian driver and injuring several others.
