Sanaa dismantles spy network linked to Israeli intelligence

SANAA, April 04 (YPA) –  The security services in Sanaa announced on Saturday the arrest of several individuals implicated in espionage activities for the Israeli enemy and their direct communication with “Israeli” intelligence entities, including the Military Intelligence Directorate (Aman) and the Institute for Intelligence and Special Operations (Mossad).

In an official statement, the Security and Intelligence Service in Sanaa explained that the apprehended suspects carried out espionage operations that included providing the enemy with sensitive military and security information, as well as coordinates of military and security sites. Furthermore, they provided critical and diverse data regarding several economic facilities in the country.

The statement noted that the suspects utilized a number of specialized espionage programs and applications to gather information, communicate, and transfer data.

The apparatus emphasized that this achievement was realized by the grace of Allah and through cooperation with the vigilance and awareness of citizens. It highly praised the role of the Yemeni people in confronting subversive plots and thwarting attempts targeting the country.

The statement concluded by calling on all citizens to remain vigilant and further enhance their awareness, stressing its importance in foiling any attempts targeting the security and stability of the nation, or seeking to influence its positions in support of Arab and Islamic causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.
