TEHRAN, April 04 (YPA) – The Iranian army announced on Saturday that it had carried out intensive drone attacks targeting “Ben Gurion” airport, coinciding with strikes launched by the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) against targets and systems belonging to the US army in Kuwait and Bahrain.
The military and war media outlets outlined the following details of the attacks:
- Targeting “Ben Gurion” Airport: The drone attacks focused on the new control tower, navigation systems, and radars, aiming to disrupt the “enemy’s” command and control systems and paralyze military air traffic coordination.
- “Wave 95” of Operation “True Promise 4”: The IRGC’s public relations revealed the details of the targets struck in this wave, using “Haj Qasem”, “Kheibar Shekan”, and “Qadr” missiles.
- Striking US Bases: The attacks hit “HIMARS” batteries belonging to the US army on the Kuwaiti island of “Bubiyan”, and a US “Patriot” system in northern Bahrain.
The spokesperson for the “Khatam al-Anbiya” Central Headquarters, Brigadier General Ebrahim Zolfaghari, stated that “Iran will achieve full control over its skies,” emphasizing that this will prove “the enemy’s humiliation and weakness” before the world.
These ongoing strikes on the “Israeli occupation entity” and US bases in the region come as a natural response to their continuous joint aggression against residential areas and infrastructure since February 28.
