Iran announces targeting of USS Abraham Lincoln with “Qadr” missiles

TEHRAN, April 04 (YPA) – The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced that it targeted the American aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln with four missiles as part of its military operation, “True Promise 4.”

According to an official report released by the IRGC, the strike involved the launch of four “Qadr” style missiles aimed at the US carrier.

The statement further indicated that the operation also targeted a meeting in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)—described by the IRGC as “secret”—attended by American flight engineers. The IRGC noted this site was struck using ballistic missiles.

The IRGC clarified that these strikes represent the 91st wave of the “True Promise 4” military campaign, framing the actions as part of an ongoing effort to bolster their defensive and offensive capabilities within the region.
