Sanaa security chiefs meet to raise readiness against internal threats

SANAA, March 30 (YPA) – Security leaders in Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, held an expanded meeting on Monday to discuss raising operational readiness and security vigilance to counter any emergencies targeting the internal front.

The meeting was chaired by the Director of Security for the Capital Municipality, Major General Muammar Harrash.

In the meeting,  Maj. Gen. Harrash reviewed a dispatch from Minister of Interior Maj. Gen. Abdul Karim Amir al-Din al-Houthi, outlining key instructions to keep pace with current regional developments.

The security chief emphasized the need to thwart hostile plots aimed at destabilizing the country and urged readiness to support military operations against “American and Israeli enemies.”

Attendees voiced their support for the military operations carried out by the Armed Forces against “Israeli entity”.

Harrash congratulated attendees on Eid al-Fitr, praising security forces for successfully executing the Ramadan and holiday security plans.
