REGIONAL, March 29 (YPA) – The Iranian military targeted an Israeli defense manufacturing plant in the Negev desert on Sunday, in what Tehran described as a “decisive response” to recent attacks on its own industrial infrastructure.
According to the Fars News Agency, the strike serves as a direct warning to “Israel” and the United States. Iranian state television confirmed that the military operation was a retaliatory measure for previous strikes on Iran’s industrial sectors.
“Israel’s” Channel 12 reported that a missile struck the industrial zone in Beersheba, triggering “secondary explosions” at the sensitive Neot Hovaf facility.
The Israeli Fire and Rescue Service reported a leak of hazardous materials, specifically carbon disulfide ($CS_2$), following damage to gas pipelines. The Home Front Command has issued urgent warnings regarding potential chemical contamination in the area, describing the situation as “grave.”
