Three killed in collapse of abandoned house in Sanaa

SANAA, March 29 (YPA) – Sanaa-based Civil defense teams recovered the bodies of three people on Sunday after an abandoned house collapsed in the village of Rabd, Wadi Al-Ajbar, in Sanhan district of Sanaa province.

According to a statement from the Command and Control Center, the rescue teams responded immediately upon receiving the report, carrying out search operations, clearing debris, and retrieving the victims. Preliminary findings indicated the collapse occurred as the victims entered the house to collect stored animal feed.

The center renewed its call for citizens to avoid unsafe, dilapidated buildings and to promptly report any structures that pose a risk to public safety.
