TEHRAN, March 29 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Sunday the launch of the 86th wave of Operation “True Promise 4,” targeting American and Israeli-linked sites in the region.
The operation was dedicated to media workers Ali Shoaib, Fatima Fatoni, and Mohammad Fatoni, who were killed in southern Lebanon following an Israeli airstrike.
In a statement, the IRGC said the new phase was honored Armenian and Christian victims from past conflicts and the ongoing war.
According to the statement, the first phase involved missile and drone strikes on air operation facilities, unmanned aerial systems, and weapons storage sites at U.S. bases in Victoria, Arifjan, and Al-Kharj.
It added that subsequent strikes targeted locations allegedly used by U.S. forces, Israeli entities, and affiliated groups in areas including Arad, the Negev, Tel Aviv, and Erbil, as well as the U.S. Fifth Fleet and Al-Dhafra Air Base.
The statement further claimed that visible explosions, rising smoke, and images of destroyed aircraft demonstrated the scale of the attacks, and accused U.S.-allied governments and media outlets in the region of attempting to downplay their impact.
