Meteorology predicts widespread rainfall will affect several governorates during next 24 hours

SANAA, March. 27 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning warns of widespread rainfall ranging from heavy to very heavy over the next 24 hours.

 

The rain will be accompanied by thunderstorms and occasional hail, and will affect the governorates of Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahweet, Sana’a, Raymah, Dhamar, Taiz, Al-Dalea, Al Bayda, Hodeida and Tehama, in addition to Jawf, Marib, Hadramout, Al Mahra, Aden, Lahj, Abyan and Shabwa.

 

The center advised citizens to be cautious of flash floods in ravines and valleys, rockfalls and mudslides, and thunderstorms.

 

It also warned against being near power lines or long trees for everyone’s safety.
