Yemenis mark Eid al-Fitr amid calls for regional solidarity

SANAA, March 20 (YPA) – Thousands of worshippers across the capital, Sanaa, and various Yemeni provinces performed Eid al-Fitr prayers this Friday morning, marked by a significant official and public presence.

Acting Prime Minister Mohammed Muftah, along with senior state officials, joined the congregation at the Great Mosque in Sanaa.

The Eid sermons focused on strengthening social solidarity and praised the “Axis of Resistance” in Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran against US-Israeli escalation.

Muftah emphasized the cohesion of the Yemeni internal front in the face of current challenges, while sharply criticizing Arab regimes aligned with the United States.
